Working in South Africa!
I was priviledged to spend February in South Africa partly on holiday and partly working.
My first week was a safari holiday with friends in the Kruger National Park staying at a glorious game lodge http://www.baobabridge.com/.
The animals we saw were amazing - lions, rhino, giraffe, elephants, hippos and many more.
The rest of the holiday I was working as a volunteer on a game reserve near Port Elizabeth.
As a volunteer we worked from 7.30am to 4.30pm with breaks for meals in scorching hot temperatures.
The work was very physically but you were able to take your time and although it might be basic tasks like fence patrol or fence laying it all benefited the animals and the reserve.
Volunteers came from around the world, most of them teenagers!
We took a cooked meal to a school every week. A school with no electricity and not enough chairs and tables for each pupil. However the children were all neatly dressed and wearing huge smiles!
The reserve also bred lions, tigers and cheetahs and had the most adorable white lion cub who was being hand reared.
It was just an amazing experience and I'm retaining the after glow of a holiday in a lifetime.
The wonderful roar of lions at night!

I continue this intervention with a number of clients to good effect.
For one of my clients dealing with a particular person was very difficult but after EFT she reported to be much confident in herself and was able to approach this person in a more assured and confident manner.
Another client benefited from EFT in reducing their anxiety.
A client has been using EFT to reduce negtive thoughts and now feels much better themselves.
EFT is a very gentle and non-intrusive intervention to overcome anxiety, lack of confidence, low mood.
