About Karen
Welcome! My name is Karen Thomas and I am an accreditated Life Coach adhering to a strict code of ethics and practice.I currently coach on a one –to-one basis and with groups.
My working life has always been about working alongside people helping them to get the most out of their lives.
My background is as an Occupational Therapist working in the mental health field both in the UK and in New Zealand. I am also a trained masseuse and aromatherapist and as well as a qualified INLPTA NLP Practitioner.
I have many years of experience working with people who are experiencing some difficulty and dissatisfaction in their lives. I have facilitated workshops, and worked with individuals, in stress management, assertion, motivation and goal-setting. More recently I am working with people who want to improve their sporting performance by addressing the negative thoughts and doubts that so often slip into our minds.
My personal interests lie mainly in the sporting arena with the main focus on golf. In order to maintain and improve mental and physical wellness, I believe a balance of home/work/leisure is vital.
